My work life began with an innate interest in writing, which has continually shaped my work experiences and ultimately led me to primarily digital media as way to solve problems and shape shift.
After studying the History of Art and Architecture at Brown University, my career started in design journalism at Metropolis and Interior Design magazines, where I was drawn to the challenge of describing our built environment through words and images. Thanks to a journalist’s unapologetic curiosity, I interviewed many talented designers and experienced spaces and conversations that I otherwise would not have had access to. Digital communication channels offered a palette for continued innovation and problem solving, and I began to understand that the most powerful content cannot be separated from its medium.
I’m a versatile writer and project leader with experience in journalism, multi-platform campaigns, mobile-first thinking, and user-led strategy and audience engagement. In my current role at AIA New York and the Center for Architecture, I oversee the organizations’ network of websites, digital projects, social media, and email marketing. Previously, I was site editor at Interior Design magazine and spent over a decade in design journalism and both print and digital media.
